One-off cleaning

Confirmation and deposit is required before work commences. Mr Eco Ltd reserves the right to amend the initial quotation if your original requirements change. Differences in excess of 10% will be discussed with you prior to the start of the work. Minimum of 2.5 hours per visit applies. Please provide a list of rooms to be cleaned, e.g. living room, bedrooms, oven etc. All products will be provided by Mr Eco Ltd unless you have made other arrangements with us. Any cleaning equipment and/or tools should be safe and in full working order. By undertaking our services, you understand that the price you have been quoted is not for a "package deal" and does not include anything apart from cleaning and recycling removal if required. If any estimates are given on how long it will take our personnel to do the job, this is only an estimated price based on the average time it should take to clean a house/flat or office of similar size. One-off spring cleaning, post party cleaning, or any other heavy duty cleaning may take longer than a general clean.

By undertaking our services, you also agree that if found using bad language towards our cleaners or verbally abusing them Mr Eco Ltd will remove cleaners from the job and charge you the full amount.

Regular domestic cleaning

Service cost is £13.50 per hour per cleaner, and is subject to signing an agreement with Mr Eco Ltd. Minimum of 2.5 hours per visit weekly and 4 hours fortnightly.

Recycling removal

Mr Eco can collect recycling (by itself or in conjunction with our cleaning services), on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Each load costs £5. If the weekly quantity increases due to a party or other event, you are expected to contact Mr Eco prior to advise. There may be a further surcharge if Mr Eco has to arrange a separate collection. All recycling must be in a satisfactory state and ready for disposal. If any estimate is given on how long it will take our personnel to do the job, this is only an estimated price based on the average time it takes to clean a home or office of similar size. A signed agreement must be returned to Mr Eco Ltd prior to the first visit.

Regular office cleaning

Service cost is £17.00 per hour per cleaner and is subject to signing an agreement with Mr Eco Ltd. Minimum is 4 hours per visit weekly and 6 hours fortnightly. The Agreement must be returned to Mr Eco Ltd prior to the first visit.

End of tenancy cleaning

Confirmation and deposit is required before work commences. Mr Eco Ltd reserves the right to amend the initial quotation, should your original requirements change. Differences in excess of 10% will be discussed with you prior to the start of the work. Not included in the cleaning price are: walls, ceilings, curtains, balconies, patios, exterior windows, carpet steam cleaning, emptying and putting items back in cupboards/wardrobes/drawers, emptying, cleaning and putting back books on bookshelves, washing up and cleaning cutlery. All of the above-mentioned services, excluding walls and ceiling cleaning, are available at an extra charge. If you require your fridge or freezer to be cleaned, you must defrost the fridge/freezer before our arrival. The property must be vacated.

Non payment

Mr Eco Ltd will collect any outstanding monies owed to them. If as a result Mr Eco Ltd has to use a debt collecting agency or court to secure payment, you agree to pay any debt collecting agency fees, court fees, legal cost, or interest which will occur due to the result of none payment of your outstanding bill.

Claims

Mr Eco Ltd has Public and Employer's Liability Insurance. The policy will cover any accidental damages caused by any personnel working on behalf of Mr Eco Ltd. Poor service, breakage/damage or theft must be reported within 24 hours from the date the cleaning was carried out. Failure to do so will result in no refund or part refund thereof. Mr Eco Ltd advises that you or a representative be present at the time of completion of the job so an inspection can be carried out and any corrections made on site on the same day. If you have scheduled an inventory check then it must be scheduled to commence no later than 24 hours after the cleaning job has been carried out. In case of damage Mr Eco Ltd, through it's Insurance Company, will repair or replace the item/s if its personnel knowingly caused the damage. If the item/s cannot be repaired Mr Eco Ltd will rectify the problem through its Insurance Company by crediting you with the item/s if it is proven to be down to our personnel. If you are not completely satisfied with a cleaning job, Mr Eco Ltd will re-clean any areas and items to your satisfaction. All fragile and highly breakable items must be secured or removed. Items excluded from liability are cash and jewellery. Mr Eco Ltd reserves the right not to be responsible for: cleaning job not complete due to the lack of suitable cleaning materials and/or equipment not in full working order, hot water or power; third party entering or present during the cleaning process.

Cancellation

Regular domestic cleaning, office cleaning: You may cancel cleaning visit/s by giving at least 24 hours advance notice. You may terminate the whole service by giving at least one month advance notice and specifying the last cleaning date. You must pay the full price of the cleaning visit if you cancel or changes the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. You must pay the full price of the cleaning visit in the event of a lock-out caused by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; or a problem with your keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills. You must pay the full price of one cleaning visit in case of a termination of the service if you have given less than two weeks advance notice. You have the right to terminate the service without giving two weeks advance notice but by giving 24 hours advance notice before or immediately after the first cleaning visit only. One-off cleaning: You may cancel the scheduled cleaning job at least 24 hours prior to the agreed start time. You must still pay £30.00 cancellation fee if you cancel or change the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. You must also pay £30.00 cancellation fee in the event of a lock-out caused by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; or problem you're your keys. If keys are provided they must open the lock without any special efforts or skills. End of tenancy cleaning: You may cancel the scheduled cleaning job at least 24 hours prior to the agreed start time. You must pay 40% of the quote as a cancellation fee if you cancel or change the date/time less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. You must pay 40% of the quote as a cancellation fee in the event of a lock-out cased by our cleaners being turned away; no one home to let them in; no water or power available at the premises. If an initial deposit has been paid to Mr Eco Ltd then deposit funds may be used to cover the cancellation fee.

After cancellation of the cleaning service

By entering into a service agreement with Mr Eco Ltd, you agree that after the termination of the cleaning service you will not hire or use any domestic cleaner provided by a present or past cleaner introduced to you by Mr Eco Ltd. If you do wish to hire or use domestic services provided by such a cleaner then you must pay a referral fee of £1,000. By ordering Mr Eco Ltd service by telephone, email, or website, you agree to be bound by Mr Eco Ltd terms and conditions. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the relevant Guernsey laws, and by agreeing to be bound by them you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts of Guernsey. Mr Eco Ltd reserves the right to make any changes to any part of these terms and conditions without giving any prior notice. Please check this website for updates.
